Congratulations to Ken Bain, recipient of the 2010 Chief’s Award. During the Robert Burns Supper on January 22, 2011, Chief Ray McEdward honored Ken with a museum copy of the Declaration of Arbroath. Much to the delight of the Supper attendees, Ken was completely surprised and rendered speechless for a short while! Ken has been a member of the Scottish Society for many years and has held nearly every Board of Governor position, led several Highland Games Committees as Games Chieftain and continues to enthusiastically promote his love for Scottish culture every day. The entire membership and the 2011 Board of Governors extends their heartiest congratulations to this honored member.
